Boobs And Whitetail Deer

Apfelstrudel Café Luitpold, Munich

I spent a few days in Munich where I've reported some gourmet items that I will post in coming days. I took the picture above the top of the Peterskirche that offers an incomparable view of the Bavarian city.

Here to start a Afptelstrudel eaten at Café Luitpold. Of course, the strudel (the Old German meaning "whirlwind ") is often given as the Austrian and Bavarian cuisines but Austrian show, though my friends say Munich (for their version is still the only one worth!) troubling similarities. It is in all cases with a pastry "falsely " single (it sounds like a recipe for Grandma but she is difficult to achieve) based gluten meal, stuffed with apples and cinnamon raisins. It is often used, as here with generous helpings of whipped cream, Schlagsahne.

As for Café Luitpold is a genuine local institution. Opened in 1888, is one of the oldest major coffee in the world at the same time as the greatest. Restored and reopened two years ago, it now offers different rooms separated by glass walls around a winter garden, where concerts are given. Its recent transformation has remade a place where one crosses trend now wildlife more colorful than the Bavarian grandmothers (who have not provided deserted places, this diversity is a good example of " gemütlichkeit " local). I went there twice and I'll come back on other pastries you can enjoy;
